Portfolio > Project 3
At the beginning of the 2003 NBA Season, Seattle Supersonics Rashard Lewis generously commissioned a theater room to be built in the newly constructed Ronald McDonald House of Seattle. The Ronald McDonald House is a place where families with sick children can stay at a suggested $15 per night, utilizing ammenties that now include a private movie theater.
Our vision was to create a Supersonics themed theater room, that was entertaining with or without a movie playing. Some of the rooms creative features include a giant basketball crashing through the ceiling, Rashard Lewis Silhouettes, and a custom made carpet made to look exactly like the court at the Key Arena.
A single-chip DLP projector gives the 110-inch stewart firehawk screen a breathtaking image, and the 7.1 surround sound speaker package seamlessly completes the package.
